Butter Bell, Red, Matte
Popular "retro" kitchenware colors are the perfect choice to brighten up any kitchen or dining room. The retro colors match many tableware or popular kitchen appliances styles. 4" tall x 4" wide, they hold a full stick (1/2 cup) of butter.
Available in gloss black, matte black, golden yellow, matte ivory, lime green, and royal blue.
Butter left open on the countertop won't keep long... and when refrigerated it tears nasty holes in your bread. Happily, there's a third way—the Butter Bell® butter keeper. What butter needs to remain fresh isn't cold temperature, but protection from the oxygen in air. Using a forgotten, centuries-old technique, the Butter Bell keeps your butter soft and fresh right on the counter for up to a month!
Just pour an inch of water in the base, pack the porcelain ceramic butter crock with butter, and invert it in the base. The water seals out air, keeping your butter soft, sweet & fresh for up to 30 days. If you're anything like us, you might be thinking something along the lines of "Fresh butter on the counter... for weeks... oh sure..." Yep, we were skeptical too. But we tried it... and it works wonderfully!
The only maintenance required is to change the water every third day. You'll soon be recommending Butter Bell butter keepers to your friends. Pleasant Hill Grain offers Butter Bells in an array of exquisite styles & colors to complement your kitchen!

So glad my sister in law told me about the Butter Bell, not only does it work, but it looks so nice on my counter. All my friends who see it are amazed how it works, and how cute it is!
This is the second butter bell that I've had. I'm disappointed in this one as the bottom portion is larger than it should be. The oversized bottom container allows the top to be rocked (unintentionally) when setting the "bell" of butter into the container. This causes any butter near the edge of the bell to get wet. This wouldn't be a problem if there was a tighter fit between the bell and the water container.
Will be ordering more for gifts. Thanks for packaging it so well and quick service. Have always had great service from Pleasant Hill Grain.
Love the color! Love the product!
