Organic Small White Navy Beans, 40 lbs.

Our small white navy beans are certified-organic, triple-cleaned and perfect for baking & cooking purposes.
Convenient & safe storage
Our small white navy beans are certified organic and non-GMO, and come in six-gallon buckets (or pails... another word for the same container), containing 40 lbs. net weight. When you store Small White Navy Beans at home, they need to be protected in a couple of ways. First, they need to be protected from a variety of little critters who'd like to get to them before you do. Weevils and rodents, for example. You also need to protect your Small White Navy Beans from picking up excessive additional moisture, which can be drawn from the atmosphere. The buckets our Small White Navy Beans come in provide full protection against these storage risks. They have airtight gasket-sealed lids and oxygen absorber packets that remove the oxygen from the air in the bucket after we put the lid on. The O2 absorbers leave an atmosphere of nitrogen in the bucket, because air consists almost entirely of oxygen and nitrogen. (The oxygen absorber packets themselves are completely food-safe, being made of powdered iron and salt, which are kept separate from the product itself.)
Super-cleaned
All of our Small White Navy Beans are triple-cleaned to ensure purity and protect your grain mill from any foreign objects. (Small White Navy Beans that aren't sufficiently cleaned may contain small stones that will damage or destroy a grain mill... not to mention that you don't want such things in your food!)
Shelf Life
Our organic small white navy beans have a shelf life of 10+ years when unopened and stored in a cool, dark, dry environment.
Non-GMO
All of Pleasant Hill Grain's whole food products are natural (non-GMO). Also, PHG does not sell any grains, beans, lentils, pulses or seeds sourced from China.
Additional Options
Pleasant Hill Grain offers over thirty kinds of whole grain products!
Our food category offers many selections of baking ingredients, delicious dried fruits and vegetables, long-term storable foods, canned meat, fish and poultry, sweeteners and more.
As a whole grains shopper you may also be interested in hand crank and electric grain mills and grain flakers as well as heavy duty Bosch mixers, Ankarsrum (formerly Electrolux), Haussler spiral dough mixers, and Famag spiral dough mixers!
Gamma Seal Lids are remarkably practical two-part gadgets that transform standard plastic buckets into rugged, gasketed, resealable storage containers that are both air-tight and water-tight.
Exceptional Value of Bulk Grain
It's well known that basic natural foods tend to be lower in cost and much higher in nutrition than processed commercial choices, but we were still a little shocked when we compared the cost of a staple like whole grain wheat, to items on the shelves at a local grocery store. Our grain comes packaged 45 lbs. to a bucket, so we're reporting each cost here, for that same net weight. The cost of living index in Nebraska is comparatively low, so processed foods like the examples shown here are priced even higher in most areas. We came away from this exercise with a heightened appreciation for the low cost and exceptional value of quality basic foods like whole grain wheat!

We've sought out Pleasant Hill Grain for their 45-pound organic navy beans for several years and keep coming back because there just simply are no better beans available anywhere. We have sampled and searched! For us, "better" means: no faster delivery, no higher quality, no superior taste, no comparable price, and no equivalent packaging. Pleasant Hill Grains is the best, Period! I just opened this week one of the six-gallon pails from our stored supplies of Pleasant Hill Grain's organic navy beans. I soaked them, cooked them, ate them, and as usual exclaimed over their sweet, tender, fresh, and energizing goodness. By the way, we order and use one 45-pound pail every three months, and purchased and received that particular pail over eight months ago. The issue for us is consistent quality and service. We consistently get that with these little white pearls from Pleasant Hill Grain. In fact, this feedback has made me want to get a cup of navy bean soup right now, and it is not even meal time! Whoa! That's a true testament and really cool! Peace.
I thank God for blessing us to find Pleasant Hill Grain's organic white navy beans. Through you we have consistently received amazingly sweet, fresh, high quality white navy beans over many years. These little white pearls are a staple for us, and you have become our go-to for keeping these beans in our pantry. I love how well you pack and preserve this product in air-tight Mylar, and find the 6-gallon pails a boon for other uses once emptied. We have learned to stock-up and keep a yearly supply on hand for emergency preparedness, which is easy due to the great price, fast delivery, perfect packaging, freshness and high quality of these organic navy beans. We recently ordered your organic brown rice and are excited to experience this product, which we read is similarly packed. We look forward to continuing our long-term-customer relationship with your company for these products. Thank you, and may God continue to bless you. Peace!
I've ordered the bucket over three times. Wanted to stock up on this product because it is a staple for my family. I'm vegetarian. My family is not---however, I can't tell when I cook these navy beans. We cook various soups with the navy bean by adding fresh carrots, tomatoes, onion and green peppers. Also, eat them cooked plain with sea salt and onion. Its so easy to spice them up in many way. They cook up much different from the store shelf type beans with all the wrinkle and dried out pieces. We love this bean.
These beans work perfectly for our family of six! I was surprised how difficult it was to find beans sourced from the USA, so THANK YOU, Pleasant Hill, for offering USA beans!!!
I am so grateful for the organic option, and the quality packaging allows us to do some long term planning. I like to cook these up with a good bit of yellow turmeric for our lunches, so even though they are white beans, my little kids call them “lellow beans” by the time they are eating them!!
I have purchased many products from Pleasant Hill Grain; some edible and some items not edible. No matter what I purchase it’s always top quality. The white navy beans are no exception. Their grain and beans are always clean and of excellent quality.
The Beans are great. Just as described and delicious!
We strongly recommend buying needed products through Pleasant Hill Grains! You will receive quality products and in very timely manner. If items are delayed, you are notified. I was looking for the best resource for bulk organic beans. This company was a great find! Their service, selection and price were of high quality and value. Delivery was on time and the product is superb. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends. Everyone needs to stock up on food essentials.
