The Deluxe has 150W of AC power and speeds of 11,000 or 15,000 RPM. Shaft length is 5.25" with cutter guard, immersion depth is 8.6" and overall length is 13.6".

The Bamix Processor attaches to Bamix immersion blenders to process both wet and dry foods, such as dried vegetables, hard cheese, chocolate, and more. It easily grinds sugar into confectioner sugar, dried bread into breadcrumbs and peanuts into peanut butter. This handy tool also minces small quantities of garlic, onion, coconut, horseradish and herbs, as well as small portions of meat, fish and boiled eggs. It is well suited to mince and puree ingredients into baby food or spreads.
Chops and minces raw and cooked meat and fish. Also perfect for vegetables with coarse fibers. This is a very popular Bamix accessory.

My previous stick blender died, and the hunt was on. I checked reviews of every stick blender out there, and the one thing most had in common was that they died after a year. So I bit the bullet and spent the extra money on the one brand that apparently lasts. Not only has it stood up to everything I've thrown at it, using the stand has made it more accessible than one I would keep in a drawer. I end up using it more as a result. Easy to clean. If running hot water over it doesn't do the job, blending some hot water and a drop of dish detergent does. The chopper jar is also very handy for small jobs -- nuts or spices.
I purchased my Bamix immersion blender ten years ago and use it all the time. I especially like blending hot soups right in the pan. I love home made salad dressing and the Bamix is perfect for mixing dressings, sauces, or salsas. I have given this same stick blender to several of my children.
I bought this as a gift based on my own experience. I've had this magic wand: ) for more than 10 years now, and it's still working like a horse with daily use. From frothing milk for my morning coffee to making homemade mayo, cream soups, desserts, you name it. It's truly indispensable in my kitchen. Easy to use and clean. In short, I love it!
Motor is quiet with no vibration. does the job well.
So far this appears to be a good purchase. Have used it for chopping dry herbs and it works great. Easy to clean.
Easy to use, takes up minimal counter space with the stand. However, instructions are not good. Ended up watching youtube videos on how to use it.
The unit is easy to use and the stand is very useful as it does not take up much counter space. The instructions are very minimal. Ended up having to watch youtube videos to figure out how to use the powder disk, add the blades to the unit, etc. Did a nice job of grinding our dried garlic into a nice, fine garlic powder.
I bought the Bamix (Deluxe) for my son for his birthday. He used mine at my house and told me he'd love to have one. Before his birthday he watched online videos on the use of the Bamix and he found a lot of recipes he wanted to try. Now that he has it he said he has used it every day since his birthday 5 days ago. He's said he's used it for ice cream, smoothies, soups, whipped cream, mayo (he made the eggless mayo recipe), and dry chopped a lot of spices together so far in the included dry chopper. He said he's keeping it out where he can grab it fast. I know when he tries my SliceSy that I bought at the same time he's going to want one of them also. \Well, he's going to have to wait until Christmas!
