"I have never before received such prompt service when ordering any item from a company. I placed my order late in the afternoon and had exactly what I ordered in my mailbox less than 48 hours later. It was a pleasure doing business with you."

Clearance: Tabletop Fruit Press 1.25 Gallon
This is an R1 clearance item. Please check the tables below to see how we rate our clearance items.
Excellent for apples or grapes, this extremely well-built 1.25 gallon press is great for smaller production quantities. The press includes an anti-rotation plate that can be screwed to your choice of surfaces; one handy approach is to screw the plate to a small sheet of plywood which can then easily be clamped to your table or other support. After the anti-rotation plate is fastened down, the main press assembly can be lifted out and replaced in a moment. After a pressing cycle, the stainless side rods flex apart at top to allow the assembly of screw yoke, forcing screw and pressing plate to be lifted out for removal of the spent apple pomace.
“Nice fruit press, good price, shipped fast. Thank you!”

The tabletop press is also perfect for making nut milk including almond milk, soy milk, rice milk and coconut milk.
The pressing basket measures 5-3/4" x 11-1/8" high and is constructed of heavy gauge (.035") polished stainless steel. The pressing plate is also stainless steel and it measure 5.5" diameter. The juice tray and the anti-rotation plate are made of heavy duty, food grade plastic. Overall height of the press with the pressing screw turned down is 15", and the base plate measures 7-3/4" x 7-3/4". Handle length is 9-3/4". The press includes a fine-mesh, food-grade nylon pressing bag that contains mash even under very high pressure. A 5/8" x 9-1/2" drain tube attaches to the drain spout of the juice tray. A plastic sleeve is included, to be slipped over the outside of the pressing basket, for some foods that may otherwise squirt juice during pressing.
It's important to keep the forcing screw well lubricated with food safe grease; this greatly reduces wear and turning effort, and dramatically increases maximum pressure and juice yield.
“Love it. I use this press every weekend and I will soon buy a bigger one too.”

|Bottom Line: If you’re a highly detail-oriented person, we recommend sticking to “R1.” But after a week’s use, the main difference between one of these items and a brand new one will be the money you saved.|
Expanded Ratings Descriptions
|R1||Very close scrutiny is required to tell that the item isn’t brand new. Working surfaces may show slight wear; for example, the bottom-inside of a Bosch mixer bowl may show swirl marks because Bosch mixer whips are designed to “float” against bottom of bowl. Non-working surfaces (cabinet, control panel) look essentially new. Carton may not be perfect.|
|R2||Typically has a small scuff or mark on a non-working surface like a mixer cabinet or the top of a pressure cooker lid.|
|FR||Mostly returned items which have been brought fully up to new-equipment performance specs at the factory.|
|D||Demonstration items have been operated briefly at Pleasant Hill Grain.|
|DXD||An item that we no longer sell new in our store because it was discontinued by us or by the manufacturer.|
|U||Has had light use.|
|SD||Has moderate damage on a non-working surface, such as a scratch or dent in the housing.|
|NOS||A brand new item that isn't the newest model.|

Loved it, easy cleanup easy to use did exactly what I wanted4 out of 4 people found this review helpful. Did you?
I've used this product twice so far, and it squishes the heck out of blended coconut and almond purees. It's solidly built, but the design could be better. The base could use rubber washers where the Stainless Steel posts secure through to prevent leaking. Also, the "feet" at the base would benefit from little rubber pads to help it grip surfaces better, and prevent dents or scratches in soft wood. Lastly, the plastic drain tube should be at least twice as long. Overall, a solidly built unit!Moderator:
Thanks for your review Jeff, we're glad you like our tabletop fruit press! To address some of the construction details: We don't recommend operating the press without the anti-rotation base, and if the anti-rotation base is used, the steel acorn nuts under the juice pan won't be in contact with the top of the counter or table. It's important to use the anti-rotation plate not just to protect your table, but because when properly secured, the plate keeps the whole press from turning when the screw is rotated either downward or upward. The anti-rotation plate can be permanently mounted to a table or counter, but most users will probably want to screw it to something like a small piece of user-supplied plywood, which can then be clamped to a table. Such a piece of plywood isn't included because of the wide range of end-user mounting situations, and the ease of obtaining the item (many users have such a board around, already.) This arrangement, then, prevents unwanted press rotation as well as protecting your table surface and allows customization to most any table or countertop circumstance. As far as leakage around the rod nuts is concerned, we've had just a few reports of that. It will probably stop if you snug the nuts down a bit, otherwise a tiny bit of silicone sealer under the nuts should easily stop it; if that's necessary, we do apologize for the inconvenience. Tubing length: Many users position their press on a counter next to a sink, allowing the juice to flow into a container placed lower in the sink. The supplied tube should work very well that way, otherwise most hardware stores stock inexpensive tubing that can be substituted.4 out of 5 people found this review helpful. Did you?
