This quality cast-iron, hand operated corn sheller rapidly removes every kernel of grain from whole corn ears. The crank turns very easily and the production rate is ten to fifteen bushels of shelled corn per hour (about ten seconds per corn ear). It works on all sizes and shapes of ears, with spring tensioner for smooth, consistent feeding.
A wing nut allows quick adjustment for corn cob size. One setting will accomodate a wide range of sizes, so adjustment is seldom needed.
The sheller's ingenious design automatically ejects empty cobs to the side, so they don't drop into your shelled grain.
The Maximizer sheller also hulls walnuts (also called a walnut dehuller).
To mount, just clamp a four foot piece of 2x2 lumber between a pair of sawhorses or similar support. Stout built-in thumbscrews securely clamp the corn sheller in place in seconds, and you're ready to go.
