Cooking Class FAQ

Class format: Classes are either demonstration style or hands-on style.

Demonstration classes: Our demonstration classes are fun and interactive in a relaxed atmosphere. Experienced demonstrators show and explain how to achieve your culinary dreams using creative, labor-saving tools and techniques. Our goal is to make your time in the kitchen enjoyable, efficient, and productive. There's always delicious tasting along the way! Demonstration classes are limited to 12 people.

Hands-on classes: Similar to our demonstration classes, hands-on classes provide you with experienced guidance using time tested and innovative techniques while getting your hands into a cooking or baking experience that you're sure to enjoy. You'll be on your feet working with others in small groups for most of the class session. The class members will taste and savor the delicious dishes we've created. Hands-on classes are limited to 12 people.

Food to eat and take home: You'll be able to enjoy generous tastes of the food we prepare throughout the class. Unfortunately, we can't allow you to take food home with you.

Food allergies: The foods we prepare in the class may contain common allergen ingredients. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any food allergies.

Attire: Please wear flat, cover-the-toe shoes. If you have long hair, please wear it pulled back. For hands-on classes we'll provide an apron for you to wear during the class.

Length: Our classes run 2 to 2-1/2 hours long. You'll have the opportunity to sit for most of the demonstration classes. Hands-on classes are more active so you'll be on your feet most of the session. Stools and chairs are provided for sitting.

Location: Classes are held in our company kitchen at 210 S. 1st Street in Hampton, NE. The kitchen is on the second floor, so attendees must be able to walk up and down a flight of stairs.

Registering: Find a class to attend from this page, and click the "Register here" link for the class. The link will take you to a page where you can add the class to your shopping basket, and from there you can purchse the class by proceeding through our checkout process. Payment in full is required at registration.

Cancellation: You may cancel your registration up to 48 hours prior to class start time and we'll give you a full refund. Or, you may transfer your registration fee to another open class of equal or greater value (full payment is required for any class to hold your spot).
