Description

Organic Soybeans, 25 lbs.

These soybeans are certified organic, triple-cleaned and perfect for baking & cooking purposes.

Convenient & safe storage: Our soybeans come in heavy duty multi-ply paper bags, and each bag is shipped inside a cardboard box. Each bag contains 25 lbs. net weight of organic soybeans. Stored at room temperature, they have a shelf life of at least two to three years. We recommend transferring them after purchase to a pest-proof container such as a plastic bucket equipped with a resealable Gamma Lid.

  • “These organic soybeans are very delicious! They make yummy tofu! When soaked in water overnight it brings backs the milky stage in the beans. They taste way better than the ones in the stores.”

    – Violet D., VA

Super-cleaned: All of our soybeans are triple-cleaned to ensure purity and protect your grain mill from any foreign objects. (Soybeans that aren't sufficiently cleaned may contain small stones that will damage or destroy a grain mill... not to mention that you don't want such things in your food!)

Non-GMO: All of Pleasant Hill Grain's whole food products are natural (non-GMO).

Pleasant Hill Grain offers over thirty kinds of whole grain products. You can also grow your own grains, fruits and vegetables with our heirloom garden seed & sprouting seed collections!

Our foods category offers many selections of baking ingredients, delicious dried fruits and vegetables, long-term storable foods, canned meat, fish and poultry, sweeteners and more.

As a whole grains shopper you may also be interested in hand crank and electric grain mills and grain flakers as well as heavy duty Bosch mixers, Ankarsrum (formerly Electrolux) mixers, and Häussler spiral dough mixers!

  • “I purchased a 25 pound bag of these soybeans so I could make tempeh at home and man what excellent service. Quality is amazing.”

    – Orlando C., TX

  • Had to be organic
    By on - Verified Buyer
I make Japanese Natto for my husband. Natto is a natural blood clot preventer made with fermented soybeans. I ferment 16 cups of soybeans every six weeks. They have to be organic so they were not GMO. I've been using Pleasant Hill Grain's organic soybeans for around five years. They have the best deal and I trust them.

  • UPDATED: 12/19/2016 "Back Again"

12/19/2016 ~ I have been using my most recent 25 pound bag of soybeans as a 'white bean' in recipes; for soymilk; and much of my soymilk is made into unsweetened yogurt. I have an Instant Pot electric pressure cooker which makes using soybeans in various meal prep applications quite easy - and much quicker than other preparation methods. I am able to process the beans so smooth in my Vitamix blender - there is no need to strain the milk so hence the milk and subsequent yogurt are made from the ENTIRE bean - nothing wasted. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality and purity of Pleasant Hill soybeans. Absolutely the best!!

Original Review: This is my second purchase of a 25 pound bag of organic non-gmo.

  • Non-GMO Soy! Yay!!!

Thank you so much for laboring to offer the public these non-GMO products! My husband Jeff and I are mindful to eat organic and non-GMO foods and are now offering them to our sheep! Yes you heard me right. : )

We make our own grain mix for them with split peas, corn, soybeans, barley and oats. Love! Love! Love! the products.

  • Soybeans the best!
    By on - Verified Buyer
Compared to another brand I thought I was sold on that was non-gmo but not organic, these soybeans are so much better: a bit of a darker hue, very slightly smaller, but most importantly "more tender. " What I mean by that is, they readily soak up the soaking water and readily give up their skins before blending; to the touch are simply more tender. It's like when you touch one of these and one of the others, you can tell these will be more easily digestible. When I teach soy milk making I have my students touch these beans and also handle the other beans both dry and after soaking and they can readily see the difference. I am so grateful to Pleasant Hill for maintaining quality with soybeans in an era that regards them as animal feed. Thank you!

  • Healthy Choice!
    By on - Verified Buyer
I ordered the soybeans because the organic markets that I go to did not carry them. The soybeans are in very good quality and I've been eating them for almost 9 months. I use it mainly to make soy milk and soy pancake. The price seem reasonable and I feel I can trust this company for the product.

I make Natto (fermented soybeans) for my husband and I and this was the best price I found. I have been buying them from Pleasant Hill Grain several years and they always arrive very quickly.

Pleasant Hill soybeans are organic, good-tasting, and ship quickly & reliably. We do soy milk and tofu with them mainly. The delivered price for our location is competitive with that at our local source a 25-min drive away. Using PH beans is a no-brainer for us!
